My name is Shmuel Ben Yeshayahu (Federico Petrelli). 
I spent years in bed because of oro-mandibular and generalized dystonia — and, over time, I started to get my life back.

Not through force… but by understanding how my jaw, cranial nerves, and the protective responses of my nervous system were working together to keep me safe.

Today, I share these principles with people worldwide who want clearer insight into their own patterns.

The nervous system's #1 job: protection


I saw it clearly in my own life: dystonia wasn't a muscle problem: it was the nervous system's cry for safety. To no fault of my own, I had learned to anticipate danger, brace, or keep myself constantly busy. The patterns of chronic tension that resulted were an adaptive strategy, not a personal failure. In other words, I was not broken: I was protective. 

The TMJs are the body's energy distribution center


The misalignment of the temporomandibular joints (TMJs) led to asymmetrical pressure being applied to each set of my cranial nerves, affected the alignment of my upper cervical vertebrae, and even shifted the way my brain perceived my body. When my jaw was off, the body did its best to keep everything in equilibrium. 

Why everything else I tried did not work


The most important thing I learned as I recovered was this: no-one can save me, but I can save myself. Others mean well, but they are not connected to my nervous system the way I am, and cannot actively shift the patterns of protection I learned. With the right method, I managed to do just that. I proved wrong everyone who said there was no hope for me.

Every improvement was temporary.

My dystonia would not release through force — it would release when the nervous system stops bracing. 


Once I understood which muscles were overworking, which were underworking, and why my system was still protecting itself… the alignment started shifting naturally.
